Oscar is an incredibly talented, inherently strategic, and authentically influential creative leader. I consider myself lucky to have worked with him three times throughout our careers, at three different organizations: once by chance and twice by choice. Most recently, when building a creative leadership team, Oscar was the person I chose and trusted to lead our designers. One look at Oscar’s portfolio proves his capacity for creative and executional excellence. And it’s through his own project work that he continually raises the bar for what great looks like within the organization. What may not be seen directly, but is built into every initiative he leads, is his strategic skillset. Oscar has an outstanding ability to dig deeper into client asks, clarify their goals, and lead teams to compelling creative solutions that generate real results. But its Oscar’s industry expertise paired with his steady demeanor, thoughtful critique, and empathetic mentorship that established him as an effective leader within our organization, guiding both the trajectory of our creative work through his collaboration and creative direction, but also ensuring the continued development of each designer on the team. Oscar is an exceptional creative leader, and I can’t think of anyone I’d recommend more highly. I just hope we get the chance to work together a fourth time in the future!
